We are child development specialists who provide support to infants, toddlers and children (up to 6 years of age) who have developmental support needs. As Resource Consultants (RCs) we assist parents in understanding their child’s growth and development while helping them navigate the early intervention system. Through the development of individual program plans, RCs help coordinate services, assist with funding applications and referrals, and provide support for children’s participation in community programs. Program plans and services may include speech therapy, physiotherapy, occupational and behavioural therapy, vision, hearing, psychological assessment, social work and feeding support.
